• When you register for an event you are required to create a profile to information which is necessary to enable safe participation in the event. This includes:
  • Name, gender and date of birth
  • Email and Postal Address
  • Mobile and / or landline telephone number
  • Emergency contact person and telephone number

Information we do not collect:

Credit / debit card information entered as part of the purchase of your entry is not captured or stored by our servers. This data is only handled by our chosen card merchant services' provider.

How we share the information we collect:

• We do not share any personal with third parties other than to enable your safe participation in our events
• We process entries into our online entry system RaceResult
• We share participant information with our crew and, if necessary, our Medical Team for emergencies
• We have a number of external links on our website. Following these links may result in information being collected by third party. We are not in control of this collection and it is outside of the scope of this policy

Keeping information secure

• Our website is held on a server which uses SSL technology
• Competitor details are stored on secure cloud-based servers

Updating your preferences

• You can unsubscribe to our mailing list by clicking on the link at the bottom of any newsletter
• You can modify your Lakeland Trails profile at any time by logging in on our website
• You can arrange for your Lakeland Trails profile to be deleted by contacting us using one of the methods shown below. Your profile will be deleted within 7 working days
